FAQ
Questions brand owners ask.
Turnaround, pricing, performance, fail handling, and how the verification layer compares to a traditional COA.
- How long does it take to verify a peptide batch with CertikLabs?
- Standard turnaround is 5 business days from sample receipt to a published, customer-facing verification page. Brand-tier accounts get 3-day priority. Each report covers HPLC purity (to 0.01%), LC-MS identity (±0.1 Da mass accuracy), and quantitative concentration (CV <2%); endotoxin (LAL) and sterility are added when the panel requires them.
- What does third-party peptide verification cost for a brand?
- Per-batch verification starts at $299 for the core panel (HPLC purity, LC-MS identity, concentration). Brand membership is $1,900/month and includes priority turnaround, the embeddable trust badge, the QR-on-vial program, and an analytics dashboard. Enterprise plans add SLA, REST API access, signed webhooks, and chain-of-custody handling. Full pricing lives at certiklabs.com/pricing.
- Does the CertikLabs verified badge slow down my product page?
- No. The embed is a single async script under 8 KB that defers until after first paint, so it does not affect Largest Contentful Paint or Cumulative Layout Shift. The full verification page is fetched only when a shopper taps the badge — the product detail page itself ships zero extra render-blocking requests.
- What happens if a peptide batch fails CertikLabs testing?
- The brand sees results in a private dashboard before anything is published. Failed or out-of-spec batches stay private and never receive a public verification URL — only authentic, in-spec lots are published. There is no penalty fee for a failed batch beyond the assay cost, and you can re-test a corrected lot under the same job.
- Can I use CertikLabs verification on international shipments and packaging?
- Yes. The QR code printed on the vial label, insert, or carton resolves to a permanent URL of the form certiklabs.com/verify/{batch-id} that loads globally over CDN — no app, no account, no region-locked content. The verification page is served in the buyer's locale and works in every market we ship to, including the EU, UK, AU, CA, and APAC.
- How does CertikLabs verification compare to a traditional Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
- A traditional COA is a static PDF the brand controls and can edit. A CertikLabs verification is a live, public record we control: each report is SHA-256 fingerprinted, lab-signed, and anchored to a public blockchain at issuance, so the buyer can prove the report has not been altered. Brands still get the signed COA file — but the source of truth is the permanent verification page, not a downloadable document.
- Will adding the CertikLabs badge actually lift conversion?
- Partner brands measure consistent lifts in the high single digits to low double digits on add-to-cart and checkout completion after enabling the badge on PDPs, with the largest impact on first-time buyers and high-AOV products. CertikLabs ships an A/B test harness in the brand dashboard so each customer can validate the lift on their own traffic before committing to a full rollout.
